About the Role
As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust, scalable, and secure cloud-based solutions. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure our cloud infrastructure meets the highest standards of performance and reliability. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, a deep technical understanding, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Implement automation scripts and tools for infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Ensure security best practices are integrated into all cloud solutions.
- Monitor cloud environments for performance, cost optimization, and security incidents.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize applications for cloud deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues promptly.
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.
- Participate in on-call rotations as needed to support critical systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
- Proven expertise with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong understanding of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles.
- Familiarity with network concepts, security best practices, and monitoring tools.
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator Associate) are a plus.
